1.5 EXPRESSION OF BIOLOGICAL INFORMATION

Date of post: 5 October 2020

Expression of Biological Information mentions about the three main processes which are DNA replication, transcription and translation. The translation has three steps in a sequence which are initiation, elongation and termination. Generally, the processes involve DNA and mRNA, tRNA, enzymes and ribosomes at the appropriate stages. But before a student further learning the processes, it is better to revise certain prior knowledge about DNA such as the structure of a DNA, the structure of a polynucleotide which consists of nucleotides as the monomers and the codon table.
